Art therapy is a regulated profession in Australia. The Masters of Art Psychotherapy training includes traditional counselling methods including; Talk Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Approach, Extensional Therapy and multiple art therapy methods.

Any creative process that enables an individual to express and heal is available. Painting, drawing, collage or sculpture. There is no 'good' or 'bad' art, it is the process that is therapeutic.
